“Children are special”

Our Mission

Our mission is to partner with parents to provide the highest quality anesthetic care for their child in a safe, non-threatening environment that is compassionate and worthy of the trust that parents give us.

Who Are The North Texas Pediatric Anesthesiologists?

We are a private group of physicians with a combined subspecialty experience of over 100 years in neonatal/pediatric anesthesia. All share in the philosophy of providing highly personalized care, commitment to excellence and improvement in the anesthetic care to children in the community. We are board certified in anesthesiology with subspecialty training in neonatal/pediatric anesthesia. Individual doctors have concentrated their expertise in the areas of anesthesia for pediatric cardiac, craniofacial reconstruction, otolaryngology and other complex pediatric surgeries as well as having certification in PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and ACLS (Adult Care Life support).

We collaborate with over 100 pediatric specialists to provide services at multiple medical facilities. Children with complex medical problems are now cared for in many institutions throughout the metroplex. We bring “one-on-one” physician anesthesia to children to help ensure a successful surgery. We are anesthesia consultants for many neonatal and pediatric critical care beds at several of the Dallas/Plano medical centers. An NTCA physician is on call every night of the year to care for neonatal and pediatric emergencies throughout the city.

What Do We Provide?

We provide pediatric anesthesia for all inpatient and outpatient surgeries at the major facilities that treat children. These include all types of surgeries from simple outpatient procedures to complex organ transplantation.

We provide evaluation of complex medical problems in infants and children prior to surgery.

We provide acute postoperative pediatric pain management.

We also provide anesthesia for your child’s comfort during procedures outside of the operating room such as MRI, CT scan, radiation therapy, bone marrow procedures, lumbar punctures, hearing tests, bronchoscopy, and gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures.

We provide emergency neonatal and pediatric anesthesia 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We provide leadership and administrative support for pediatric anesthetic care in the community.

We are consultants for the development of pediatric surgery care centers.

It is an honor and a privilege to care for children. We believe that children, parents and surgeons deserve the pediatric anesthesiologist’s undivided attention and therefore provide “one-on-one” physician anesthesia. We appreciate the trust your doctor has placed in us by recommending one of our subspecialty physicians.
