Special Interests:
Dr Abramson has volunteered for Faith in Practice (www.faithinpractice.org), a Houston-based Church-based organization that travels to Antigua, Guatemala to provide free medical resources. They work at Hermano Pedro, a combination Catholic church, orphanage, old-age home and hospital. Teams of surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, dentists and family physicians spend a week in Antigua tending to the needs of those who would not ordinarily have access to skilled medical care. All medical services and supplies are provided free, equipment being donated by many organizations.
